And then he walked along the edge of the Circle

This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!

New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

Comments on The New Alex Harvey Band [reply]

i remember arriving at this gig about 1 hour early and a guy was giving tickets away for nothing in the street. me and my cousin olly, had came in from east kilbride to see him, ive been a lifelong fan of alex and his band and was really looking forward to it. they place was about 2 thirds empty at kick off when they played king kong from rock drill over the tannoy to introduce the band, then it didnt matter if i was the only one there, the hairs on my neck stood out....he introduced his new band, and rocked through all of mafia stole my guitar. when he played framed he threw pieces with egg in them out into the audience, well ur always hungry....i thought it was a great concert but im sorry glasgow never gave him the send off he deserved...one of my many memories from the apollo [reply]
