This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Hadn't heard of them when I went along to the Apollo in 79ish to see Television. Came
away more impressed by The Only Ones than Television who played too much from their
second album and not enough from the first. I was sorry I hadn't seen Television
the time before when I heard they had been supported by an up and coming band called
Blondie, but that didn't matter once I had seen The Only Ones. Unfortunatelly,
after that the omens were against me seeing them again. They were ment to play the
second Loch Lomond Festival in 79/80, and I spent hours trying to get somebody to
sign me in to Glasgow Uny Students Union. Saw the band roll out of a camper van and
past me and ma mate into the Union, and gave up once we began to hear the muffled
tones of the band striking up behind the glass plate doors of the Union.
