This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| The 'other' 3 piece band from Canada. Triumph were a little more traditional rock
than Rush, but a brilliant live band, great (blinding) light show and brilliant
songs. WHo can forget the sight of those white Marshall stacks as well!

| Gotta agree Big Man!!! I remember going to that gig with you and being very surprised
at the high level of musicianship of the band - especially Rik Emmett. And a singing
drummer too!
Progression of Power - very true!

| Technically proficient and very capable band I always felt they had something
missing. Rik Emmet has always been more of a classical guitarist than a rock
guitarist and although I was gobsmacked by his fretwork during Blinding Light Show
and Rock'n'Roll Machine the atmosphere was not the same as other Apollo bands. Shame
that they never came back.
