| just some anoraky points about the 1984 / Marillion section. Marillion's only ever
gig at the Apollo was on Friday 17th February 1984 (I know as I was there for my
birthday). Fish was still with the band up till the 23rd July 1988 (his last gig with
Marillion and in Scotland-St. Andrews). Beteewn those dates they played The
Barrowlands ( Hogmanay 1986) and the SECC (1985)
as well as the Edinburgh
Playhouse (1987).
BTW You'll have to find a easier way of navigating the bands
section. You need an alphabetical list to link to the bands not just an 'advance
page' thing.

| great, a page dedicated to fan's pictures and It'll be even better when I can
actually see the things! Am I the only one who can't see these pictures? I can see
all the ticket stubs no problem so what are you doing differently with the pics?
Talking of stubs I sent a zip file with some stub JPEGs including one for the last
Whitesnake gig at te Apollo in 1984 but it isn't on the page but others I've sent in
are. Any ideas. I'm enjoying the site but I hope you can get the pic thing sorted

| I'm glad you guys started the site, I am sure as time goes by you will make many
changes. It would be great to hear from some of the performers. There
must be loads of them who would love to post some "inside"
information. I happen to know of a former Appollo Manager who now lives
overseas but when I see him again I'll point him to the site, he has great memories
of the old place. I have the book at home, "You don;t have to be in
Harlem. I didn't put it down till it was finished.

I'm also in the same situation as Jeanette. I have kept a hold of
the email that confirms the paypal transaction for the dvd. I ordered the Apollo
Countdown dvd as a gift for my dad's christmas and every email that I have sent since
then, Scott has dismissed.
The fact that he hasn't placed any orders in about
18 months sounds fishy to me.
I find it extremely annoying as my dad has some
really fond memories of the venue and I'm sure he would have really appreciated
getting the dvd as additional gift for christmas.
I hope you can assist us in
some way! I'll gladly forward you the paypal if that will help any.

Myself & my wife are in the same position, as my wife ordered a
tee-shirt for me on 19/02/09. And after many emails to this site regarding an update
- no reponse and no tee-shirt has been seen. My wife paid for this thro` paypal and
the money was withdrawn in February 09.
We too are considering taking this
further, but would prefer a response from Scott. All we are all looking for is for
some replies!

| Hi all you guys who haven't received your DVDs.
To let you know what is happening,
or rather not happening. When you order a DVD from this site it goes into Scott's
paypal account. He is then meant to send us an email with the customers address to
let us know it has been paid so that we can send it out to you. He then sends us a
cheque minus a fee for avertising it on the site. For the last 18 months or so we
haven't had anything from Scott. This means that he must be keeping your money. We
have tried to email him, call him and still no response. we also seen him at the
Apollo Musical at the Armadillo and still nothing. We are now at the stage of having
the police involved as it is a fraud crime. You are losing your money and we are also
losing money. I thik if he reads this it will be taken of the forum immediately. The
police say that our DVD should now not be on the site for sale, but we have no way of
taking it off. If you guys are still wanting and Apollo DVD you can get it through
our website www.talismanfilmsscotlans*xx* or through ebay under Glasgow Apollo DVD.
we would not hesitate in sending you a copy. Of course you would still have to get
you money back from Scott. The police suggests that you all contact paypal to
explain. We all need to put pressure on Scott.

You are the only one to come back re: this problem. We as Talisman Films
Scotland have contacted the police and they say although it is fraud it may be a case
for the Trading Standards. Trading Standards say it's a police matter. Where can we
go from here? All you guys are losing your money and so is TFS as we are not
getting paid either for DVD's from Scott. We have emailed him and called him but
still nothing, he says he has marital problems and will sort it out but still nothing
has happened. The police say that the goods should not be for sale on the site but
the only person who can remove them is Scott. If we hear of anything we will
soon let everyone know He can't be checking this site otherwise these messages would
be removed. Note the absense of messages from 2006 till earlier this year He must
have removed all these .

| I'd like to see a "new subject" thread where I could introduce specific
items. For example you have a 'find old friends' thread where you can only reply to
the original subject.
I worked at Clouds and was one of the team who demolished
the inside of Greens, preparing the way for the new Apollo. I was there when Johnny
Cash made his entry for the first concert. I was in the cashier's box when they were
putting finishing touches to the reception carpet with the crowd eagerly waiting
outside. It's not an easy forum to use.
