"..My name is John Naismith and I had the pleasure of playing the hallowed stage as a 17yr old in March 1980 with the band I was in called The Elite we supported Stiff Little Fingers on the final date of their Nobody's Heroes Tour alongside Another Pretty Face who as we know had Mike Scott as vocalist

My memories a very clear it was a Sunday evening we were all cacking ourselves but got a great reaction from the audience just the buzz of being on that stage took all fears away and I really enjoyed myself, the end to the evening was superb back to SLF's hotel for a huge party and too many tequila sunrises, yip memories are made of this.
