| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| They were my favourite band at that time, apart from Slade of course! A mate and i
went down in the afternoon to see if we could see them going in. We hung aboout in
the lane for a while, then a van rolled up and the big
singer"Animal"staggered out the back. I remember thinkin the big lad was
cool as feck at the time.I think some ugly, monstrous punkette sidled up to him and
went in free. We still werent allowed to go in and see the soundcheck, but we did
hold the door open to hear it instead. Dull i admit, but thats all i remember. No
autographs or nuthin.I never even thought about it.And they were god to as i recall.
