This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Def Leppard were a great live band back then, raw energy and deserved to be at the
forefront of the old NWOBHM. I remember seeing them twice in 1980, in February at
Tiffany's with the excellent Witchfynde supporting, then in March or April doing a
double header with Magnum. One good touch about that tour was that they had a 3rd
band, sort of local to the venue. We got a band called (I think) Colossus, who if my
memroy serves me right were from Dundee (very local to the Apollo) and who gave a
good account of themselves.
