| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Never saw Frankie at the Apollo, but jumped at the chance to help the roadies out
when he played the Heathery Bar in Wishaw (great place!) for a free ticket and a
beer. Of course we were suppose to help the guys take the stuff back out, but after
12 hours drinking it never happened! Anyway, Frankie was immense - one of those
typical gravelly Scottish voices, like Alex Harvey and Dan McCafferty, with real
heart and soul put into every line of every song.

| Again, never saw him at the Apollo, but did catch him at the Mayfair 1983 and the
Shelter 19??).
Both superb gigs, at least one had Brian Robertson on guitar.
