| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| The second "real" gig I saw. Didn't know who Lynyrd Skynyrd were at the
time!! Still a massive Earring fan tho'. They're still going believe it or
not. Tour non-stop all year round. Huge in Holland & Germany. The Apollo was more
of a Skynyrd type of venue on the night. Look at it now...Skynyrd are a sad
parody of themselves & the Earring are producing the best material of their
career. Wha' said auld men cannae rock??

| I remember this gig. Alquin were supporting. THey got a great response from the
crowd. Golden Earring were really late on cos, as they said to the crowd,
"We were watching Star Trek!!" After the drum solo on Radar Love, the
drummer stood on his stool and did a somersault over his kit, fell off the stage and
landed in the crowd. What a cheer. Still, he took it well and headed back up the
stage.
