This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| As a 13 year old I saw Madness play the Apollo in March 1983. It was the first
concert I had every been to, and I have some happy memories of that night. I was
caught up in the atmosphere outside with the older nutty boys drinking the wine
etc. I had to politely decline when offered a swig of wine from a fellow nutty
boy! After watching the Jo Boxers do their set, the place went wild when Madness came
on. I stood on my seat for and hour-and-a-half and danced my heart out. Best
gig I ever went to!
