This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Mott seemed to like playing at the Apollo...and I remember Ian Hunter used to jump
off stage down into the orchestra pit, and even took his keyboard down there too on
one occasion..(bit of a jump down mind innit!!)..the crowd loved it..(me and my mates
were in front row anyway so was great)..but the management didnt go much on
it Baz

| Just remembered..ref my last post..the management came out on stage, and said they
would stop the gig if Ian Hunter jumped down off stage again....the drummer then
flicked a drumstick off his snare drum which spun over and hit the manager on the
back of the head...CLASSIC!!..was it a lucky shot or was he aiming for him..the gig
continued anyway..but it was a laff!
