| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| I Stood all night at the age of 15 to get a ticket for the Osmonds in 1973. Worth
every minute. Then my first job from 1974 - 1975 was at the Apollo, where I worked in
the office, as Telephonist, Cashier. In 1975 the Osmonds returned to perform at the
Apollo while I was working there and I got the chance to meet them. I also got
married that year and have now been happily married for 32 years. It was a dream job
at the time and I have fond memories. I went on to work in a Bank for 22 years. Then
at the age of 42 had a big career change and went to University to study Nursing. At
the age of now almost 50, I have been a Nurse for four years now and enjoy it very
much. I have one daughter aged 31 and am also now a Grandmother to my two lovely
Grandchildren. I am still a Donny Osmond fan and have seen him perform in Scotland
for the past five years. In fact I have a ticket for October 27th 2007 to see him
again very soon.

| Helen, I too went to this concert, it was first ever concert and I was 14 at the
time, my dad's friend got me it and I had to go on my own. It was very exciting. I
saw them several times in concert again, once going overnight to London to see them
at the Rainbow in Finsbury Park, the back on another train. Still like Donny but in a
more sedate 50 year old manner! I too worked in the bank for years and now retrained
to be a teacher, married to an American and live in the States.
