| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Dee Dee shuting 1-2-3-4. The entire stalls surging forward. The first dozen
rows of seats trampled. The futile attempt of the bouncers to hold everyone back
before giving up and disappearing for the rest of the show. Rock 'n' Roll perfection.

| A magic night! The place erupted when The Ramones came on, and a group of fans in one
of the top boxes unrolled this huge sheet with 'Gabba Gabba Hey' written on it -
which was so long that it completely covered the box below. I just remember seeing
the shapes of all these fists, faces, etc, desperately trying to rip it oot the
way... Every time the group tore into a bit where Joey wasn't singing, he'd leap
backwards and pump one arm furiously. At one point, he leapt back too gamely and
practically demolished Tommy's kit. This was all great stuff - high comedy, top
tunes, raw excitement... God, I really miss them...
